At this point, we don’t know which is more exhausting — the fact that
everyone seems to find an issue with Iggy Azalea or the fact that Iggy
herself responds to every ounce of public criticism she receives.
This time, Iggy’s responding to comments made by Eve and Jill Scott during their stop by Sirius/XM’s Shade 45.
Both ladies took issue with Iggy’s ‘blaccent’. Eve first shared her thoughts, saying:

upset about certain things. Yeah, she’s white. But they grew up with
our shit. Hip hop is everywhere. Every neighborhood, every country,
every city. It didn’t just hit. Yes, it’s from us and it’s our thing.
She’s representing a group of girls right now as well. I think people
right now are too quick to give too many accolades to new people.
That’s the one thing I just can’t stand. Let her do her thing…it’s not
my cup f tea but she’s representing for somebody.”

that’s the only thing that stops me….because I know where that comes
from.”
