Recently on social media, some rumours found their way into Facebook timelines and groups of one of Nigerian universities, Unizik.
According to the rumours, the newly elected SUG President of Unizik, Comrade Noble Eyisi allegedly impregnated a first year student in the same campus.
However, President Eyisi has denied such rumours attributing them to be the handwork of detractors.
According to information received at Nautimes, he clearly stated
“I DID NOT IMPREGNATE ANY YEAR ONE STUDENT”
The information further read that in a telephone chat Thursday evening, the president said that the rumor is a handwork of mischief makers and urged the students to ignore such. He further disclosed that he is ever ready to uphold the principles of the university which are discipline, self reliance and excellence.
Hon. Comrade Noble Eyisi, a political science undergraduate of the university was elected the students’ leader on the 11th day of December 2014 and was sworn in on 15th December 2014.
