Muhammadu Buhari was today welcomed in Borno State by thousands of supporters who
were already waiting for him at the presidential campaign venue, as the day had
already been declared a public holiday. People came out in their thousands to
chant his praises as they sang in their local dialect parading a locally made
casket of PDP as supporters rained curses on it and carried it around the campaign
ground. Indeed it was Buhari’s day in Borno today.
