The president of ECOWAS, President John Mahama of Ghana and the
President of the ECOWAS Commission, Desire-Kadre Ouedraogo, and other
ECOWAS leaders will be meeting with President Jonathan, APC’s Muhammadau
Buhari, and INEC Chairman before Saturday’s presidential election to
ensure the elections will be credible and hitch-free.
The leaders will meet with President Jonathan at the Presidential
Wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, while they will
also be meeting with Buhari the same day at a different venue. They also
intend to meet with the INEC chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega before
finally leaving for their various countries.
