Beautiful, Eloquent and most captivating young ladies from all corners of Lagos and across Lagos state have started gearing up as the search for The Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos gets underway. Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos (MBGL) 2015 tagged “The Sleek Queen Edition” is endorsed by the Lagos State Government and promises to be the biggest beauty pageant in the history of Lagos State with its unique and outstanding efforts.
Royhills Fashion House the organizers of the highly awaited MBGL split the auditions into two (Mainland and Island respectively) for the convenience of registered contestants. Both auditions experienced impressive turnouts from contestants who converge at the venues from different locations in Lagos State.
The organizers held the audition with experienced and skilled Judges who are knowledgeable in auditioning ladies to know who best fit to contest for Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos (MBGL) at Tunde Gafar Close, off Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja (Mainland Venue) and Slick Bar VGC, which was the venue for Island Audition.
Mainland audition had 52 registered contestants auditioned, however the best 14 contestants were selected based on their outstanding performances needed to contest for Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos main event, while Island audition had 61 registered contestants and 13 ladies were selected for the main event which has been foreseen to be the biggest beauty pageant in Lagos State.
Speaking on the turnout of the contestants, Adeyinka Mayowa, the Public Relations person of MBGL heartily says; “we never thought the contestants would cheerfully turnout this much, despite the fact that we had a lot of registered ladies. This is indeed massive because this is our first edition, having many contestants in attendance is a sign that we are indeed taken seriously”.
CEO of Royhills Fashion House, Roy Edozie, the initiator of MBGL who is the brain behind, Lagos Fashion Awards (LFA), Runway On The Street (ROTS) and Africa International Model Search (AIMS), in a brief interview said; “the Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos pageant has been established in Lagos state to provide the young women the opportunity to grow as well rounded Individuals. The Organization will prepare them to take on the world as women who are aware of the power that is derived from fulfilling their purpose, and who uses this power rightly on humanity.”
The official photos of the final contestants would be unveiled in few weeks while the voting poll kicks off shortly after unveiling the contestants to the general populace of Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
