Yesterday in New York, rapper Jay Z launched his newly acquired
music streaming site called Tidal. If you are active on social media,
you would have noticed that big guns like Madonna, Beyonce, Usher, Kanye
West, Rihanna and so many others turned their Twitter icons blue and
were tweeting #TidalForAll. Tidal is reportedly the world’s first
streaming platform owned by musicians that promises to deliver
“exclusive experiences that will be available nowhere else.” But comes
at a monthly $20 fee.
To promote the site, Jay held a press conference that was filled
with some of the biggest names in music in New York last night.
