The Obamas joins others to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday

The Obama girls Sasha and Malia joined their parents, president
Obama and First Lady Michelle in Selma, Alabama on Saturday March 7th to
commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, the day where civil
rights activists braved the KKK and police forces in one of their first
civil rights marches. The march took place in March 1965.

President Obama led the 50th anniversary march across the Edmund
Pettus Bridge. The group also included former President George Bush and
his wife former Laura Bush, some of the original foot
