The Indonesian government has executed the eight people condemned to death for drug offences, including 4 Nigerians.
Indonesian television is also reporting that the Filipina woman,
Mary Jane Veloso, who was among them was spared at the last minute,
after a woman accused of tricking her into carrying drugs turned herself
into police in the Philippines on Tuesday. Reports tonight say Veloso’s
death sentence has been postponed so that she can act as a witness in
any trial of the woman named Maria Kristina Sergio,
There are reports that the executions took place at around 00.25
