First of all, Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles is GORGEOUS for a 61 year old.
her April12 wedding to Richard Lawson, 68- an actor, popular for his
role in the TV show ‘All My Children’.
She also talked about how one can find love at any age and how her grand
daughter Blue-Ivy convinced her to remarry. Read excerpts from her
interview with People Magazine after the cut.
“To walk down the aisle and see all my friends and family and to see
my handsome man standin’ there, and to know that at 61 you can still
find love and have a magical day like that … it was really beautiful.
There was a time when I doubted if I would find love again. But I was
determined to be happy, and God sent somebody into my life. You can find
love at any age. You just have to go for it.’
She also credits her three-year-old granddaughter Blue Ivy with convincing her to marry for a second time. Tina tells People
magazine that the little girl asked them when they were going to get
married during a vacation with Beyonce and Jay Z last September.
‘Richard said, ‘Oh, Blue, soon. Do you approve?’ And she said yes.
That’s the first time we talked seriously about getting married.’ Tina
told the publication.
