A final year student of the University of Nigeria Nsukka who trekked from Nsukka town to the Enugu state government house to felicitate with the newly sworn in governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, as the first Nsukka man to be elected governor of the state, was sadly turned back from the gate of the government house by security men. Stanley who left Nsukka town at about 7am on June 1st and got to the state government house by 5 pm, was told by the security men that the governor and his deputy were not on sit and so can’t come inside.
