Here are 10 things you
didn’t know about the African king of pop.

2face moved to the US at the age of 3. He lived there for 4 years
and returned to Nigeria in 1982 at the age of 7.
2face first came to Lagos in 1992 as a secondary school student. He
stayed for a week before returning to Benue.
In the past 3 years, 2face have not been listening to music like he
used to. He now concentrates on watching documentaries and reading about
diverse issues.
2face never attended a music school and he was never in a choir. He
just discovered he could sing and control his keys.
Despite being one of the most successful musician on the continent,
2face doesn’t feel fulfilled. He will only stop working when Bill Gates,
Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola stop working.
In 2001, while he was still with the group, Plantashun Boiz, 2face
was involved in a car accident which was caused because he was driving
under the influence of alcohol. The incident left him with a phobia for
fast driving.
His biggest investment is him his kids. He puts in every effort to
teach them to be confident and strong.
2face once backed up for Weird Mc while she was recording her debut
album in Nelson Brown’s studio.
Unlike what is rumored in the media, 2face never deserted his former
group, Plantashun Boiz. The band had an agreement that everyone could
move on with their solo careers after 4 years. He however stayed with
the group for 7 years before moving on with his solo career.
Before signing to Kennis Music, a label offered to sign 2face with
the sum of 500k as ‘sign on fees’. He declined….
