JR Smith Accused Of Choking A Teenager At An NYC Pizza Shop

The JR Smith experiment in New York came to an end in the middle of last season, but fans are still giving him shit for it and he allegedly reached his boiling point last week.
According to the New York Post, a 19-year old high schooler from Harlem claims the Cavs’ shooting guard choked him out after he made a joke about Smith’s stint with the Knicks.
The teenager, Justin Brown, says the incident took place at Artichoke Basille’s Pizza on W. 17th & 10th Ave. at about 4 a.m. on Nov. 13.
Brown and some friends allegedly asked Smith for a photo and when they were ignored…

“That’s why New York kicked you out, yo!” Brown remarked.
Brown told cops that after the verbal brush, Smith, who is 6-foot-6 and 225 pounds, checked him against the exterior of the building and put his hands around Brown’s neck, police sources said.

JR was definitely in town that night because the Cavs were visiting the Knicks, but he hasn’t been arrested for his alleged involvement.
