Students pay solidarity visit to Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory

Students under the arms of National Association of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering Students visited Lagos State materials testing lab in solidarity for their support to materials, metallurgy and humanity. In his keynote address the National President, Comr. Owums Henry, highlighted the importance of the firm in Lagos and Nigeria at large. He extolled the rare qualities of the management as they celebrate 8th anniversary. He also highlighted that such laboratories should be established over the country to ensure quality in structural projects in Nigeria. He also made an outreach to the firm to assist then in their programs as they aspire to duplicate this feat all over the country. The Managing consultant, Mr. S.A Famakin in his reaction thanked the students for travelling down from their various location. He assured them of their continuous support for students’ programs. Mr Bimbo Adebayo, the head of the lab, took the students round the laboratories and how they operate. In his closing remarks, Mr. Bimbo Adebayo appreciated the students and advised them to work on personal development as it will add to their CV. He said they will keep admitting students on industrial training. The event also featured presentation of awards to the Managing consultant and the management and staff of the firm.
