Olamide takes the lead for tooXclusive Awards 2015

Nigeria’s leading online platform for music sharing and download, tooXclusive.com have officially unveiled the nominees to be featured in over 18 voting categories for the 2015 edition of her annual awards. By their prominence as the people’s preferred choice, which can also be evidenced from their award wins this year, tooXclusive is using this premise to reward artistes/music brands who have especially excelled to particular and impressive relish with their works in the year under review (September 2014 – October 2015)

This announcement heightens the tension for who will win what at this year’s online-based awards that has some of Africa’s best and internationally celebrated artistes including Olamide, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Phyno, Davido and Patoranking slugging it out for a variety of wins in their nominated categories.

This 4th season, Olamide displaces Davido who dominated two years in a row by leading with ten nominations. This very eventful year will also see new entrants Ycee, Toby Grey and Choc Boi recruits Koker and Dice Ailes competing for the Best New Artist among them. Also, songs by popular demand have been pitched against each other for highly coveted titles like Certified Banger of the Year, Best R&B, Best Afro Pop as well as Best Hip-HopTracks. Some of these songs will include Seyi Shay’s Right Now, Reminisce’s Local Rappers, Olamide’s Shakiti Bobo and HarrySong’s Reggae Blues.

The awards shall be holding exclusively online. Voting will run for a two-week period via the website; www.tooxclusive.com after which eventual winners shall be presented accordingly, and award plaques delivered to them. You can visit the website to see the full nominees list.
