WHO TRUELY DESERVED THE AWARD FOR NEXT RATED ARTIST OF THE YEAR?

First of all, I’ll like to remind you all that this is an award and a lot of things come to play before a winner is crowned. So let’s consider a few things. The Award was giving by vote in different ways..
1.Most air played songs
2. Normal Headies site vote.. Now let’s evaluate.
Lil kesh and Reekado Banks who had most AIR PLAYED SONGS?
Abeg its a not a matter of dancing to anyone’s songs.
we are Nigerians that’s why we did not base on Good Music. Yes, “lil kesh makes hit songs back to back, but most of lil kesh songs are banned not to be played on Radio
so if Most of Lil Kesh songs are banned from airwaves the question is why? I know its not easy to write “skiborobo skibo” on his music jotter every time.
For Me, Kiss Daniel stood better chances of winning this award if this was the only criteria for judgement, cos none of Reekado’s or Kesh’s Songs had more airplay than Laye or Woju. But then, its more than that.
VOTING:- *in burnaboy’s voice* Reekado has the huge support of his fan base called the Reekaddicts, you can check it out on Instagram. That’s where he directs them on how to vote. Lil Kesh has the support of the streets, who are only on 2go. The first step he should have taken is to Join 2go with them and reach Ultimate level, Kiss Daniel did absolutely nothing to Land votes, so what does he expect? While Reekaddicts where voting Reekado Banks, Lil kesh fans where doing nothing? If I may ask, How many of you voted Lil Kesh?
Headies Award may have lost credibility, but before you shout and scream, sit down and consider facts. So, on this note, I really think that, to a very large extent, Reekado Banks merited the award. As for Olamide and Donjazzy, I do not wish to interfere with what God is doing in your lives. And pls, now that both of you are beefing, Can we now delete “Skelemba”?
