Tidal hasn’t been shy to switch up many of higher-up positions in the company, now on their 3rd CEO since launching last year. Today, the streaming service has announced in a statement to Complex that both CFO Chris Hart and COO Nils Juell have been “terminated”.
The
statement continues to explain that the changes reflect the services
geographical move. “As Tidal has grown into a global operation serving
46 countries we have moved our accounting and operations team to New
York while our technology team and key support staff remain in Oslo.”
No word on who will fill the new positions, but we should have word soon. Last we heard, Samsung was in talks to purchase Tidal, could this all be part of that deal? We’ll keep you updated with further details.
