Notable Celebrities Who Have Lost Their Kids To Death

Yesterday (June 24), the sad news of the untimely demise of Nigerian veteran pop star – Dbanj’s son hit the internet with reports that the 13-month-old baby was involved in a fatal pool accident at their residence in Ikoyi, Lagos Island – Nigeria.

The devastating news of baby Daniel’s passing has left the entire country in a cold as thousands have begun to send good thoughts, prayers and condolences to the singer mostly via social media.

Daniel D’ Third as the singer refers to his son is a bundle of joy and beauty and as seen on his social media page, the pop star unrelentingly shares sights of his father and son moment with the child for the world to see.

Daniel is D’banj’s known only child and the first fruit of his 2-year-old union with Lineo Kilgrow Oyebanjo. As a Twitter user puts it; “there is a name for a child who loses his father, there is a name for a child who loses his mother and there is a name for a child who loses both parents but there is none for a parent who loses their child”.

As D’banj rightly said in his last Instagram post that confirms the passing of his baby boy, ‘these are trying times’ and in truth, no parent should bury their child. But as it is known, death is a bitch and just like D’banj it has snatched the children of a number of musicians across the world.
