FG Releases State-By-State Centres for Immigration, Fire Service, NSCDC Physical Verification

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board has published the complete list of physical verification centres for the 2025 recruitment exercise into Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies.

This comes after the conclusion of last month’s computer-based tests for candidates seeking placement into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The board announced that the list of shortlisted candidates for physical screening and document verification would be released between Monday, December 1, and Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

According to the board, the physical verification stage is one of the most crucial phases of the recruitment process, as officials will authenticate applicants’ identities, documents, and physical fitness before they proceed to the final stage of selection.

The Tribune reported on Monday that the screening centres have been approved for all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Candidates shortlisted from the four paramilitary agencies are expected to appear only at the centres designated for their respective states of origin.
