How To Get Ukrainian Phone Number

The absolute first thing you must do when you enter Ukraine, is get a Ukrainian SIM card. You are asked a lot what your phone number is, but you must get a Ukrainian number. The very second you can, find the nearest Ukrainian phone store and get a SIM card. They are everywhere, and you will easily find one.

Here are your options, the prices are relatively cheap for Lifecell, Vodaphone, KYIVSTAR.

How To Find Better Connection

If you are using one provider and the mobile data connection is caca poo poo, open your mobile data settings, turn off “Automatically Select a Network” and select Lifecell, Vodaphone, or KYIVSTAR. Experiment with which one has the better connection for your phone and area.

NOTE: APPLE DEVICES DO NOT WORK.

I don’t know why, it can be googled or AI but Apple does not allow you to swap out the SIM card, better get an Android or set aside some money to purchase a Ukrainian cell phone. It’ll be recommended you just get an Android in your home country so that it will be in your native language. Stop using your native SIM card immediately, not only will you incur charges for roaming, but it is basically useless, it will not cost nearly as much money to just have a Ukrainian SIM card, do this immediately to gain access to Ukraine’s mobile data networks.
