EFCC Arrests 24 Undergraduates, 12 Others for Cyber Crime

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan Office has arrested thirty-six suspected internet fraudsters at 21, Sawmill Road Awa-Ijebu, Ogun State. The suspected cyber criminals who are between 19 and 37 years of age include: twenty-three students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, out of which nine were ladies who allegedly claimed to be girlfriends and or neighbours of some of the suspects; one from the National Open University of Nigeria and twelve others are non-students. Guinness Nigeria declares N4.03 Billion Dividends at the 68th Annual General Meeting

Guinness Nigeria Plc. has declared a dividend of 4.03 billion following the approval by the company’s shareholders at the 68th Annual General Meeting of the Company held in Abuja today at the Transcorp Hilton hotel. The dividend declared translates to a payout of 184 kobo gross per share to the shareholders. French Montana Ordered to Pay Rapper Waka Flocka’s Mother $2 Million

French Montana has been ordered to pay Waka Flocka’s mother $2 million dollars. According to Complex, their drama began back in 2013, after Waka’s mother, who is well-known hip-hop manager Debra Antney and CEO of Mizay Entertainment,  filed a lawsuit against French Montana, her former client, for doing deals behind her back and cheating her out of a 20 percent management fee. Dr Dre Slammed With $25 Million Bill for Beats Headphones

Dr Dre and his Beats Electronics co-founder Jimmy Iovine have been slammed with a $25 million bill after a jury ruled against them in a lawsuit. According to the Associated Press, the duo owe their former business partner Steven Lamar $25,247,350, prompting him to sue in 2014, seeking over $100 million in royalties. The Napoleon Hat Worn At The Battle of Waterloo Sells For Over $400K

A hat said to be worn by Napoleon Bonaparte at the Battle of Waterloo sold for more than $400,000 at an auction in Lyon, France. The De Baecque auction house told CNN the buyer is a European collector passionate about the First French Empire.
