Yesterday, Lil Kesh dropped his new song, ‘Ibile‘, and to prove that they really have buried the hatchet, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Di’ja and Reekado Banks of Supreme Mavin Dynasty promoted the song on their social media pages, encouraging their followers to go DOWNLOAD/listen to the new tune.
But are their fans buying the new peace pact?
Angry YBNL fans flooded the Mavin artistes’ pages to post unprintable comments with talks about how they are not accepting the peace pact, and how pretentious the promotion of Lil Kesh’s single seems. Some riddled Di’ja, Tiwa Savage and Reekado Banks’ posts with #LeaveTrashForLawma, and this goes to show how deeply the YBNL fans had taken the short-lived feud.
For the bosses of both record labels – Olamide and Don Jazzy- they have stayed away from these discussions and hardly engage their fans on social media. We guess they are counting days until their collective fans wear themselves out and move on.
But one thing is sure: they have learned from this messy affair because it must be painful watching their artistes bearing the brunt of their bad conducts.
