Manchester United In Talks With Fellaini For New Deal

Manchester United have opened new contract talks with Marouane Fellaini.

The Mirror says United have tabled an initial offer to the midfielder about extending his stay, after being urged to do so by Mourinho.

Fellaini is 30 in November and the club have a policy of offering only one-year extensions to players of that age.

It is understood that Fellaini is after a longer commitment, but enjoys working under manager Jose Mourinho.

The United boss says he “feels weaker” when the Belgian is missing from his squad. He also blocked a move to Galatasaray in the summer after the Turkish side had agreed terms with the player.
