The 2015-16 season will be Kobe Bryant’s last in the NBA, but we do
expect Nike to continue the Kobe line well into his retirement. If
nothing else, there will surely be retros of some of the most popular
Kobes in the years to come.
According to the premiere sneaker analytics website Campless,
the most valuable Kobes on the market right now aren’t his older kicks
though, it’s some of Nike’s most recent releases- mainly the ‘HTM’
collabs designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker.
When
it comes to the most valuable (in terms of money) Nike Kobe shoes on
the market right now, the king is the rare Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low ‘HTM’
Milan (all four of colorways), which carries an average deadstock price
tag of $3,042. And you can be sure those won’t be retro’d anytime soon.
In fact, of the Top-10 most expensive Kobes for sale right now, half of them released after 2014.
Classics
like the ‘Barcelona’ and ‘Grinch’ Kobe 6s are still highly coveted by
many sneakerheads which is why they crack the Top-10, but they are
nowhere near is valuable, right now, as some of the limited edition 9s
and 10s.
Take a look at the top-10 most expensive Kobes currently on the market, and peep a closer look in the gallery below.
