Beyoncé’s Family Made Her an Adorable Birthday Playlist

In honor of her 34th birthday, Queen Bey got perhaps one of the most adorable gifts we’ve ever seen: a birthday playlist from her friends and family. With tunes selected by mother, her sister Solange, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, baby Blue and many others (including, of course, her beloved husband, Jay Z), each song beautifully represents her meaning to them and the role she’s played in their lives.

Jay Z, on choosing the song “Yellow” by Coldplay: “This song reminds me of you and I on vacation. ‘Look at the stars / Look how they shine for you.’ So many legendary nights. It represents vulnerability; it’s us in our own world, away from work and totally lost in love. ‘For you I’ll bleed myself dry.'”
Blue, on choosing “Part of Your World,” sung by Jodi Benson from The Little Mermaid: “Mommy, you sung this to me all the time! Happy birthday, Mommy!”
