The court on Thursday declared the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Alex Otti, the duly elected governor of the state during the April 11, 2015 gubernatorial election.
Though Ikpeazu has appealed the decision at the Supreme Court, eyewitnesses told Olisa.tv that a huge riot has broken out in central Aba. The protest we understand is mainly spearheaded by the Ngwa, Ikpeazu’s kinsmen.
The riot has spread to major roads in town such as Okigwe road and Faulks Road.
More details later.
